One intercepted transmission a day. It's a riddle, and sometimes it's also a cipher. Work out the one word it's hiding.

• You start with five bars of signal
• Each wrong guess costs a bar. So does each clue
• Clues: letter count, then first letter, then the letters themselves, scrambled
• Lose all five bars and the answer is revealed
• A new transmission arrives at midnight
